Henri Ruppert has a gift: that of identifying terroirs in order to individualize vintages of character. And with regard to the terroirs, his Domaine could not be better positioned. Sitting on limestone, quartz or even gypsy soils, each soil in Henri Ruppert's vineyard is subject to optimizing the expression of a grape variety. No grape variety is subordinate, each has its place. And to make the most of the expressive purity of each terroir, Henri Ruppert's experience led him to design his own charter, the "Sélection 12" for 12 grapes per vine. But he also masters crémants or barrel aging with great precision: his "Gëlle Fra" and his Pinot Noir "Ma Tâche" are perfect examples.
