If René Bentz and his son Nicolas are the guardians of centuries-old traditions in the family vineyard of Wellenstein, they nonetheless remain extremely vigilant about the quality of the wines they offer, and the methods used on their exploitation. It is therefore natural that they both opted for reasoned management of the vineyard, leading them to work with both organic fertilizer and compost. It is on this basis of a healthy culture and a fine selection of the grapes made during the harvest, that the family is able to guarantee, year after year, a range of unique wines, rich in aromas and character. Their Riesling and Pinot Gris are a perfect testimony to this.
